Asian American Psychological Association is having their 4th general
meeting this quarter on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 7:30pm at Career and
Counseling services room #1109.
We have the pleasure of having Jay Valdez who is, a Counseling
Psychologist here at UCSB come speak with us at our meeting. He has
his PsyD in Counseling psychology. Since our guest speakers will be in
an interview format it will be a great opportunity for anyone to ask
questions. Ie. What do you do? What do you like about your job? What
was the path that you had to take to get where you are today?
We know that psychology is a very broad field; there are numerous
types of career in the same field. We are excited that our guest
speakers lined up for this quarter are so diverse in their careers and
their degrees. This will be great for anyone who is interested in the
field to get a good perspective of what different types of careers in
psychology are like.
All majors and ethnicities are welcome! =)
