Career Services is proud to present one of our largest events of the year -
our Career Fair Week. We have over 120 employers coming to meet with
students to present their career opportunities, and to meet with faculty
and staff to further educate themselves on the programs at UCSB. Please
encourage your students to attend these fairs - many employers are ready to
hire for full-time positions and internships starting now. We would also
love if you came by yourself - employers like nothing better than to see
how much support the students receive from you and to give you more
information about their companies.

Science & Technology Career Fair
October 16, 2007

Also, if students come dressed to impress, with a résumé that has been
critiqued, and have studied a few employers in advance (see the career fair
webpage at <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://career.ucsb.edu/fallfairs.html">http://career.ucsb.edu/fallfairs.html</a>) we will let them in early
from noon-1pm. This is a great way to show employers how prepared they are
and ready to meet them!
If students need help with their résumés, they can come to Résumania, our
résumé critiquing event, on Monday, October 15 from 10am-4pm. We will have
all our career counselors on hand ready to help them out, along with some
other goodies.
