style="font-weight: bold;">4 PM</span> in the <span
style="font-weight: bold;">Psychology office</span>. Below, please

<p class="MsoNormal">Join Psi Chi National Honor Society in
Psychology! Psi
Chi's mission is to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in
psychology
scholarship. Psi Chi provides opportunities for advancement in the
field
of psychology. In addition, this is an excellent opportunity for
students to
meet others who share an interest in psychology. Membership is open to
graduate and undergraduate men and women who are making the study of
psychology
one of their major interests and who meet the minimum
qualifications. Celebrate
your outstanding academic achievements by joining and participating in
Psi Chi

<p class="MsoNormal">READ INSTRUCTIONS/CRITERIA CAREFULLY.<br>

The requirements for UCSB Psi Chi membership are as follows:<br>
<br>
* At least <b>12 units</b> of upper division Psychology work.
These units must be taken at UCSB.<br>
<br>
* Upper division Psychology GPA of at least <b>3.3</b>.<br>
<br>
* Overall UCSB Cumulative GPA of at least <b>3.0</b>.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> *****An unofficial transcript (GOLD PRINT OUTS
ARE
FINE) and self addressed, stamped envelope MUST accompany each
application.<br>
<br>
* A $50.00 one-time membership fee is paid upon acceptance into the
honor society. <b>Do not include payment with application.</b><br>
<br>
Applications are now available in the Psychology Undergraduate Affairs
Office
(Psych East -- Building 251). <span style="">In
addition, please find the official Psi Chi application attached to this
email.
Applications may also be printed and filled out.<b> <br>
The deadline to apply is <u>April 20 by </u></b></span><b><u>4pm</u></b>
. Applications should be turned
into the <b style="">PSI</b> <b style="">CHI APPLICATION</b> envelope
in the undergraduate office. <br>
