Psy 155 with Max Krasnow- Summer Session B

Ever wonder why humans are the way they are? Are you curious about what
aspects of human psychology are universal, differ cross-culturally, or
vary by sex? Interested in learning about brain mechanisms for finding
mates, navigating the social world, taking care of offspring, finding
food, avoiding incest, managing risks, etc? If so, then you should
think about taking Psych 155 (Evolution and Cognition) this summer
(session B) with Max Krasnow! Max is a 5th year Ph.D. student working
with Leda Cosmides and John Tooby. He was an undergraduate at UCSB and
it was Psych 155 that inspired him to pursue graduate research in
evolutionary psychology. The class this summer will be in a smaller
format than typically offered during the school year, making it possible
to have many more discussions on the topics you find most interesting.
