face="Times New Roman" size="3">My name is Shelly Gonzalez and I am
the Director of Marketing for the Western Psychological Association
(WPA) Student Council. We are a group of undergraduate and graduate
student representatives from various colleges and universities
throughout the west coast who hope to stimulate interest in behavioral
science research. As student representatives, we encourage our fellow
classmates to become involved in research presentations, attend the WPA
annual conference, and voice input regarding convention activities,
speakers, etc. We are currently accepting nominations for student
representatives in an effort to disseminate information, engage
students in research, and increase involvement for as many campuses as
possible. As coordinator of the psychology department, the WPA Student
Council would greatly appreciate if you could forward this email, along
with the Student Interest form, to your students so that they have the
wonderful opportunity to become involved. Completed interest/nomination

end of March. We hope to have 1-2 representatives from each campus.
