Research Opportunity
The Self and Intergroup Relations Lab (directed by Professor Brenda
Major) is looking for several students to assist with projects looking
at the psychological and physiological effects of stress and prejudice.
Responsibilities may include: running participants in experiments;
collecting psychophysiological data; participant recruitment; data
entry; coding video and physiological data; miscellaneous lab duties.
This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in applying to
graduate programs in psychology or learning more about research.
Requirements: No experience is necessary. We are looking for psychology
undergraduates with a 3.0 GPA or above. Availability for 10-12
hours/week, 2-3 quarter commitment preferred. Must be highly reliable,
responsible, and motivated. Male and female applicants from diverse
backgrounds are desired. 99/199 credit is available. Volunteering may be
possible.
