Dear UCSB Psychology Major:

As you consider your future please spend a few moments to consider
earning a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch
University Santa Barbara. We are a local school with an excellent
reputation in the community for training psychotherapists. Antioch’s
M.A. Degree has been fully accredited by the North
Central Association for 30 years. As of July 1, AUSB hopes to transfer
its accreditation to the Western Association of Schools and
Colleges (WASC).

Our graduates are eligible to sit for the California Marriage and
Family Therapy license after completion of a post MA internship.
We are, I think, justifiably proud of our pass rate on
both parts of the licensure exam.*

More U.S. students are now seeking advanced degrees and you’ll find
that you face significant competition as you aim for the higher paying,
senior-level jobs. A master’s or doctorate in psychology will open
many doors for you. Going to graduate school is the right choice
for many of our most talented students. Beginning the MA Program in
October, 2007 or January, 2008 you can graduate after just 18 months.
Most students pursue licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist,
however, some continue on to earn a doctoral degree in psychology
(PsyD) from Antioch or another institution.

Our program offers a convenient schedule of classes. Students enter in
a cohort and attend school one day per week for a 10 week quarter.
Each quarter also has 2-3 Saturday class meetings. By the third
quarter, students are receiving training in a community agency.
