ALL PSI CHI MEMBERS:

Psi Chi, the National Honors Psychology Society, would like to
announce that its second meeting of Winter 2007 will be at <b>5:00 pm
</b>on Tuesday, <b>February 27</b>. It will be held in <span
style="font-weight: bold;">room 1217 </span>in the<span
style="font-weight: bold;"> </span><font style="font-weight: bold;"
size="-1">Biological Sciences Instructional Facility (BSIF)</font><span>.

We are excited to announce that there
will be a short and interesting guest presentation from Professor Aaron
Ettenberg of the
psychology department. Dr. Ettenberg specializes in Neuroscience and
Behavior (for more information, please visit his website: <a
rel="nofollow" target="_blank"
href="http://www.psych.ucsb.edu/people/faculty/ettenberg/index.php">http://www.psych.ucsb.edu/people/faculty/ettenberg/index.php</a>)
and is currently teaching Psy 116L, "Lab Animal Learning." In addition
to Dr. Ettenberg's presentation, we will also
be summarizing last month's meeting for members who were unable to
attend and giving new updates. Refreshments will once again be provided
for all
members who attend the meeting. </span><br>
For previously inducted
members (excluding Fall 2006 recruits), we still have some certificates
and pins. If you were unable to pick up your Psi Chi materials last
year, please come by and get them.<br>
We hope that you will be able to make it to the meeting and we look
forward to seeing you then!<br>

In
other news, we will be beginning our Spring recruitment at the
beginning of next quarter. If you know of anyone who is interested in
joining, please tell them to look for upcoming announcements and flyers
posted around campus!<br>
