Looking for the opportunity to get involved in psychology research or a way to
get easy units? Become a research assistant by enrolling in Psy 99/199!
The psychophysiology and RECVEB (Research Center for Virtual Environments &
Behavior) lab are looking for research assistants for this winter quarter. By
working in our lab, you can get between 1-4 credits (at the rate of 3 hours per
unit). Here are the details:
Lab: Psychophysiology-Virtual Reality Lab, under Prof. Jim Blascovich
Project: This will involve a series of studies on how bodily perceptions impact
emotional experiences across cultures.
Description: 199s will helping with studies that examine the mind-body-emotion
relationship and its dependence on culture.
RA duties include: running participants, coding data, entering data, conducting
literature search, brainstorming ideas for follow-up studies, etc.
Additional Requirements: We are looking for responsible and reliable research
assistants; no experience necessary.
