<p class="MsoBodyText">This course will explore the latest exciting
research in
stem cell biology, with a slate of local and visiting researchers
carrying out
investigations related to the molecular mechanisms of pluripotency,
adult and
embryonic stem cells, cancer and neural stem cells, induced pluripotent
stem
cells, and novel approaches to developing cellular therapies for
disease.</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText">The course is open to graduate students <b>and
advanced undergrads (who have completed genetics 101A). Please note
that generally in order for an undergrad to take a grad course they
must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative gpa (there is a petition process).</b>
</p>
<p class="MsoBodyText">We will kick off on April 1, 2-3 pm 6141 Bio-2.</p>
