Biodiversity and Ecological
Restoration, UCSB </b></p>
<p

to restore UCSB campus natural areas for local plants and wildlife
through an
internship with CCBER for Fall 2007 quarter. Students will gain
valuable
hands-on field experience restoring native wetland, coastal sage scrub,
grassland and oak woodland habitats. Internship activities include
plant
propagation, seed collection, planting, weeding of exotics and
ecological monitoring.
Learn about local plants and animals, earn course credit, meet
environmental
professionals in your community, and enjoy a beautiful outdoor working
environment! </p>
<p
style="background: white none repeat scroll 0%; text-align: justify; -moz-background-clip: -moz-initial; -moz-background-origin: -moz-initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: -moz-initial;">Internship
requires 1 fieldwork session (2.5 hours) per unit per week and students
will be
required to keep a journal to record their experience (30 min.).
Volunteer
opportunities are also available!</p>

earn course credit,
you must be an EEMB, ENVST, GEOG or CCS student and meet the minimum
