We are pleased to announce 2 new summer research training fellowship
programs at the University of Cincinnati.<br>

The research projects in the <b>ASPET SURF and NSF REU Membrane
Science
with Bio-Applications Programs</b> may be of particular interest to
undergraduate students in the <u>B.S. degree in Pharmacology at
UCSB</u>.<br>
<br>
I would appreciate your assistance in bring these opportunities to the
attention of <b>UC at Santa Barbara </b>students who may be
interested in
spending this coming summer with us at the University of
Cincinnati. Students will conduct scientific research in faculty
laboratories in the Colleges of Arts & Sciences, Engineering,
Medicine, Pharmacy, and at our Genome Research Institute.<br>

research
experience and exploring graduate (M.S. and Ph.D.) degree programs in
pharmacology, toxicology and pharmaceutical sciences are sought for
this
10-week full time summer program. Students majoring in biology,
biochemistry, chemistry, neuroscience, pharmacology, and related
subjects
are sought. Rising juniors and seniors will be given priority.
Women and underrepresented minorities are encouraged to apply.<br>

Five (5) research fellowships will be awarded: $4,000 each.<br>

experience in membrane science and exploring graduate (Ph.D.) degree
programs in engineering, bio-medical, and pharmaceutical sciences are
sought for this 10-week full-time summer program. Students majoring in
biology, biomedical engineering, biophysics, chemistry, chemical
engineering, environmental engineering, materials engineering, polymer
science, pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, and related topics with
interest in membrane science are sought. Rising juniors and seniors
will
be given priority. Women and underrepresented minorities are
encouraged to apply.<br>

Ten (10) research fellowships will be awarded: $4,000 plus housing,
transportation, and meal allowance.<br>
