Students interested in research work being done in our departments are
encouraged to enroll in MCDB 186, Undergraduate Research
Colloquium. Each week a different faculty member in will talk about
the projects being done in their laboratories. This is an
opportunity to learn about and perhaps get involved in research as part
of your undergraduate program. Students must have completed or be
enrolled in the last quarter of the general biology sequence. Up to
three units of 186 may be counted towards the various degrees in
biology. You may wish to discuss some limitations on this with your
advisor. If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Kohl
(<a href="mailto:kohl@lifesci.ucsb.edu">kohl@lifesci.ucsb.edu</a>).
