Chemistry lab assistantship

The Schimel Soil Ecology Lab needs a student to work in lab support and analyses. 
Routine duties include reagent mixing, data entry, clean-up, and soil 
preparation. Occasional work also includes gas analyses, automated ion colorimetry, enzyme 
fluorometry, or liquid chromatography. Candidates need quantitative thinking, a strong work ethic,
and above average chemistry skills. Starting pay is $9 per hour; 12-15 hours per week with 
prospects for 2008-09. Work sometimes leads to independent study projects.
