Sorry Pam about the inconvenience, but I made a mistake with the date  
of this event.  It is Saturday, February 2nd and not the 3rd.  Would  
you mind resending this out.  I am getting a lot of emails regarding  
this confusion. thanks.

Attention UCSB Students,

The Health Professions Association is proud to present

The 8th Annual Health Conference

When:  Saturday, February 2, 2008
Where:  HSSB Courtyard
Time:  9:30-5:30pm

The Health Conference is an all-day event where speakers of different  
medical backgrounds talk about their personal experiences with  
medicine and health care. The HPA is working hard to ensure that you  
have an opportunity to learn more about the fields you are interested  
in and by attending this event, you will have a chance to interact  
with health professionals, admissions officers, current medical  
students, etc.

This is truly a rare opportunity for students to interact on a  
personal level with so many highly trained professionals from all over  
California.  It will also be a good chance to join the HPA if you have  
not done so already and would like to.

If you have never considered a career in health care I strongly  
encourage everyone, from freshmen to seniors, to come to this event as  
it might convince you to give a health profession a try.  Invite your  
friends.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided.  Feel free to email me  
with any questions regarding this event and we hope to see you there!
