      AT SANTA BARBARA ZOO JOB FAIR

*Santa Barbara, CA (February 28, 2008)* --  The Santa Barbara Zoo is 
holding a free Job Fair for those interested in "wild" summer employment 
on Thursday, March 13 from 4 to 6:30 pm. at the Zoo, 500 Ninos Drive, 
Santa Barbara, just off Cabrillo Blvd. at East Beach.

            Job Fair participants will enjoy special animal encounters 
and learn about some of the Zoo's wild jobs in retail, food services and 
guest services/admissions. Staff is also needed for Zoo Camp and as 
hosts at the Zoo's many special events. There are jobs for teens as 
young as 14.

            The Zoo's award-winning "Guest Experience Specialist" 
program, intended to be a "first job," introduces participants to the 
work ethics and basic skills needed when embarking into the business world.

            Information about internships and volunteer opportunities 
will also be available.

            There is free parking for participants, who should check-in 
at the front gate. No reservations or appointments are necessary.

Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). /

/It is open daily from 10 a.m. -- 5 p.m.; general admission is $11 for
