 Focuses on mechanisms of growth control of eukaryotes. Topics include: 
the   
 properties of mammalian cells in culture and how they relate to 
malignant    
 cells, growth factors and their receptors, cell cycle control, 
oncogenes     
 and tumor suppressor 
genes.                                                  
 Prerequisites:  MCDB 101A-B with a grade of C or 
better.
