My name is Amanda Dudley, and I recruit for Teach For America at 
UCSB.  As you might already know, Teach For America is working to end 
educational inequity in our country by enlisting and training top 
college graduates to teach in underserved school districts across the 
country. The *FINAL* application deadline is *Friday, February 15th*, 
and I need your help to make our final application deadline a huge 
success here at UCSB. 

 

Would it be possible for you to forward this information to your 
students?  I know UCSB students (both graduate and undergraduate) can 
form a force of change in our education system and with your help, we 
can enlist more outstanding future teachers for students in low-income 
communities.  This is the last opportunity to apply for the 2008 corps, 
and I would love for every student at UCSB to know about this incredible 
opportunity for after graduation.
