Process: Past, Present and Future*; Plants have evolved over hundreds of
millions of years with fire, but today some natural fire-prone
ecosystems such as chaparral are threatened by diverse anthropogenic
changes in their environment
October 29 - Scott Stephens, Ph.D.; UC Berkeley: *Prescribed Fire and
mastication in Northern California chaparral*: Plant, invasive, and bird
