For students interested in IAESTE, this information is from my colleague
Deb. Many internships are technical, but internships for science majors
are also offered.
*IAESTE*/ //(the International Association for the Exchange of Students
for Technical Experience/) provides students and employers with the
opportunity to engage in cultural dialogue through* **international
internship exchanges*. In addition, IAESTE United States provides
engineering and science students with* **short-term programs and
training conferences* domestically and abroad, designed to develop your
leadership abilities, expand your network and acquire global competencies.
Are you interested in joining IAESTE United States and participating
either at home or abroad? There are countless ways to get involved!
Currently at the IAESTE UCSB there are* **leadership opportunities*
available. And, the* **Pacific Fall Regional Conference* is almost
here! * **UC Berkeley will host it this year October 19-21.* Come to
learn about IAESTE,* **make new friends* and gain new leadership skills
along with 5 other West Coast universities. Please visit
