The Siegel/Nelson Marine Science laboratory is currently seeking an
undergraduate for part-time employment, starting immediately, at $10/hr. 

Hours= 5-15/wk, and work schedule is negotiable.

Responsibilities include analysis of seawater samples (spectroscopy,
fluorometry), preparing for oceanographic cruises (rinsing bottles, assisting
with packing and cruise logistics) and possible assistance on monthly
single-day research cruises in the Santa Barbara Channel (where
responsibilities include collection & filtration of water samples and
instrument deployment.) Previous laboratory experience or science-related
coursework preferred.
This position can be short- or long-term.
