_Student Assistant Positions in Restoration Ecology_

The Cheadle Center for Biodiversity and Ecological Restoration (CCBER) 
is hiring 4-6 part time student assistants to work at the Manzanita 
Village Restoration Project on campus. Come and get hands on experience 
restoring native wetland, coastal sage scrub, grassland and oak woodland 
habitats. Job duties include exotic plant removal, planting, seed 
collecting, plant propagation, ecological monitoring and general site 
maintenance. Students must be able to devote between 10 and 15 hours per 
week and be willing to work outdoors for extended periods under varying 
weather conditions. No experience is necessary but knowledge of native 
plants and restoration ecology is a plus. The pay is $10 per hour and 
students with work-study are encouraged to apply.
