Because RE 188/288 Seminar varies its specific topic each quarter, we
would like to announce to the students that the Spring Quarter
RE188/288 Seminar will be a hands-on Plant Identification Class focused
on learning to use the Jepson Manual of the Higher Plants of California
for locally relevant species.
Because taxonomy is not taught at UCSB any more we felt is was
important that we provide occasional opportunities for students to gain
this important skill on campus.

Seminars will continue to be held from 6-7pm on Monday nights at Harder
Stadium rm 1013.

Thank you for forwarding this to the students.

Sincerely,

Lisa
