[Biology-U-L] Msg from HP: Preparing for The Interview Workshop Open to All Students

Hi Everyone!

Tomorrow, Wed Feb 21st 7:30pm in IV Theater 2 we will be having a
"Preparing for the Interview" Workshop with Dr. Cindy Lewis from
Lewis Associates.

This event is open to all students interested in
the health professions.  The event is hosted by the Pre-Pharmacy
Student Association in coordination with the Pre-Dental,
Pre-Optometry, Pre-Veterinary, and Health Professions Association
clubs.  Free pizza will be provided by the HPA organization.  A flier  
for the event is also attached.

As a Pre-health Advisor for over 21 years, Dr. Lewis has presented at
over 100 national and regional conferences and pre-health clubs around
the United States including clubs at UCLA and UCSD as well as the
Stanford University Minority Medical Association Conference (SUMMA).

     29 of her alumni have been accepted to Harvard Medical and Dental
Schools and over 700 of her alumni are in training or practicing
medicine right now. She has been called the best advisor in the US
for long-term, personalized, and detail?oriented advising by her
alumni. With the rapidly increasing applicant pool for Health Careers
in 2007 which has created significant competition, her skills are in
great demand.
