[Biology-U-L] Biology majors survey starts Wednesday

[Biology Undergraduate List]

Dear Juniors and Seniors,

I write to request your help in making UCSB an exceptional  place to 
study the biological sciences. On Wednesday, Feb 7, you will  receive a 
request from the campus to fill out a survey on the Internet about your 
experiences in the Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Marine 
Biology.  EEMB is the biology department that offers  majors in Aquatic 
Biology, Zoology, Physiology, and Ecology and Evolution and jointly 
offers the Biological Sciences major with MCDB. The survey is part of a 
broader review of the department that will assess our strengths and 
weaknesses. The resulting recommendations will help us improve 
undergraduate education for you and future students.

Please help the department by completing the survey. It only takes a few 
minutes and your responses will be completely confidential.  The survey 
will be administered by people outside of the department, and the 
software will not attach names to the responses, so your answers will 
remain completely anonymous.

Thank you for your help.  The faculty and I look forward to learning 
about your experiences in our department.  We value your opinion very 
highly and look forward to having your input and suggestions as to ways 
to improve our undergraduate program.
