Saturday, April 28, 2007

?The Power of Your Gaucho Connection: The Key to the Competitive Advantage?
is the theme for an interactive networking event on Saturday, April 28,
2007 at 10:00 am in the UCSB Corwin Pavilion.

Tap into UCSB's most valuable resource: the Gaucho network. Discover the
power of networking. Expand your professional and personal networking
circle. Increase, refine and practice your networking techniques with tips
from a dynamic career consultant in this interactive program.

Facilitator Cindy Chernow is a career consultant, career coach,
professional speaker, trainer, and co-author of the book ?Real World
Communication Strategies That Work.? Her honest, energetic and encouraging
style leaves participants inspired to go out and take action. She has a
diverse client list that includes AT&T, City of Los Angeles, Raytheon, US
Navy, Universal Studios, Veteran's Administration, Boeing, H&R Block and
Xerox. She is also the former director of alumni career services for the
UCLA Alumni Association. Her background, including her experience in the
field of human resources as the branch manager for Siemens Corporation and
her international work in Kenya and Chile have helped shape the powerful
strategies she shares with her audiences today.
