The Opportunity

This position performs experiments to characterize compound-induced organ 
injury and to compare the cellular pathways and functions leading to organ 
injury in animal and human tissue.  The responsibilities include 
establishing and performing investigative studies using various in vitro 
and in vivo models, performing biochemical and molecular assays with high 
throughput, collating the data and performing data analysis, as well as 
contributing to reports and presentations.  It will also contribute to 
advancing the acceptance of this data to support the registration of new 
drug entities.

The Requirements

    * Master or Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences with emphasis in 
Molecular Pharmacology preferred.
    * Two years academic or industry experience conducting independent 
research investigating molecular and cellular function preferred.
    * Excellent spoken and written English skills required.
    * History of Professional Publication highly desirable.
