--------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are inviting you to an information session about our conservation corps,
American Conservation Experience, or ACE. We are currently looking for
volunteers, interns, and employees for our year-round project schedule.
ACE works in national parks and forests throughout the west. Our projects
include trail maintenance and construction, dry masonry and re-vegetation.
ACE is located in Flagstaff, AZ and is expanding to Santa Cruz, California.

WHEN:	Friday, November 17th, 2006
WHERE:	UCSB Counseling and Career Service building, room 1109
TIME:	Questions/drop in: 1:00 - 2:00
WHY:	To share ACE opportunities with UCSB students

ACE is an exciting option for students who are looking for a way to make a
difference by being involved with environmental conservation work,
ecotourism, and sustainable development. ACE operates under the philosophy
that physically demanding work in beautiful natural locations such as the
Grand Canyon, the red rocks of Sedona, the mountains of Utah, etc. inspires
and develops leadership, compassion, responsibility, respect for the
environment and commitment to serve ones community. Visit us online for
more info: <http://www.usaconservation.org/>

There will be a representative available to speak with interested
students from 1:00-2:00.

Thank you.

Questions should be forwarded to Katie at:
