  1. 1.To review the basic concepts of psychological research methods

  2. 2.To teach how to design and conduct research through lab participation and group project where students will have first-hand experiences with the process

  3. 3.To learn how to write a research paper

  4. 4.To understand how to critically examine others’ research and media representation of research findings

There was an important error on the old syllabus. The assigned reading for Week 4 should be Chapter 6 & 8. Chapter 5 is for Week 6 and Chapter 9 is for Week 7. Please download the revised syllabus and refer to it instead of the old one.
